2016 Girls & Boys State

Congratulations to Cadet Captain Ariana Mostasharnia for attending Bluebonnet Girls State camp in Seguin, TX. She is the first girl to attend this camp from our JROTC program, along with Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Joe Lopez who attended Bluebonnet Boys State. At this camp, young men and women are taught the importance of patriotism and hard work by encouraging them to run for office positions within the mock-state, write bills, debate, and hear the words of inspiration from various speakers. It is certainly a once in a lifetime opportunity, and we are so proud that Ariana and Joe got the chance to experience it.
