Honoring Our Veterans

The Alamo Heights community started a new tradition this year by bringing all organizations of our high school together to have a ceremony in order to honor and thank our veterans who have nobly and unwaveringly served our country. It was a beautiful ceremony with speakers such as our own Battalion Commander, C/LTC Abigayle Zepeda, alumni who became war veterans, our school principle, and Molly Brown, President of National Honor Society.
As well as our ceremony, the senior staff from our program presented the colors at the AH Junior School and The Forum, a retirement community nearby. Following that, they went to the Fort Sam Cemetery to honor one of our fallen alumni, Dick Stannus.
